How to dispose of Old used supplies

I like to recycle and not throw things in the trash if they can be recycled. Is there a proper way to dispose of/recycle old used supplies like old tubing, masks, etc.? I could not find anything on it but I am sure someone has asked this before.

I usually get rid of tubes and mask frames in the 'Plastics' section of our recycling centre, head gear with 'fabrics' and my two old machines have gone back to the DME that supplied them.

I don't think that there is any way to easily recycle the silicone and 'gel' parts, those have to go to the landfill. Foam air filters can be recycled with plastics. I think that the white filters can probably be recycled with plastics. As long as it doesn't contain latex, the headgear can probably be recycled with plastic.

What about old cpap machines? We have two.

One is a Respironics without cflex, and the second was returned from Respironcs "repaired" and still has runaway pressure. Does anyone take donations of this type of cpap?
