Cleaning Headgear

What is the best way people clean headgear? Does anyone use a washing machine?
Machine:Respironics system one REMstar Auto w/ A-Flex, and Heated Humidifier.
Mask: F&P Forma Full Face Mask . Respironics Comfort Gel Full
Software: Encoreviewer 2.0
Pressure: 13cm.H2O

I used to wash it out by hand with ordinary soap.......now I just throw it in the washing machine.

I wash the headgear out in the shower with soap and water when I wash the mask and let it all hang and dry.
