I love those robots!  Their 90 day missions have now exceeded 3 1/4 years!  Technology really can work right and succeed beyond everyone's wildest dreams!  Go, Bots, Go!

NASA learned an important lesson there:

Under-promise, over-deliver.

The pleasant surprise was that the solar panels are not, in fact, being covered by a coating of dust as they expected would happen (that's why they expected a 90-day life for the mission).

Gonna be a sad day when those rovers finally break down for good, though.
