Does anyone have any recommendations for a pediatric sleep specialist in the Boston area?  We are considering switching to a new doctor for my 6 year old daughter who has OSA.  The one we currently have is fine when you can get a hold of him, but he rarely returns our phone calls and only does so after repeated attempts.  Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

We moderators have been very remiss in checking on the pediatric forum and I sincerely apologize.  Look at the top posts in this section and you will find a link to doctors.  You could probably call the ABSM (American Board of Sleep Medicine who accredits docs) and they might be able to help you.

Just curious, does your son's doc think enlarged tonsils may be the culprit?  Unlike in adults, if tonsils are suspected to be the problem, tonsillectomies have a high success rate of curing OSA in children.
