Post camping
Hi I've been invited to go camping and there are no hook-ups for our R.V..  I have a ResMed 87 CPAP and am wondering how I go about getting something to take that will work like on a battery or something.  Would I have to buya whole new machine or is there a device that would work on my CPAP?  Thanks, as I really don't want to miss out on this camp-out.

Some machines will work with an inverter.  I haven't heard of a Resmed 87, but you might try calling them and seeing if you can use it with an inverter.

You can get one from just about anywhere, but I suggest getting at least a 300w one.  I would also suggest plugging into your house battery (Not your starting battery!)  During the day you will probably have to recharge it (either by running generator or engine) but it will work.

Do a Google search for Aims 300 pure sine wave inverter.  It should do what you want.
