Post Masks NOT covering nose
Hello.  I'm posting this question for somebody not on this list:  Can anybody recommend masks that do NOT cover the nose? [If you need more sleep apnea-related details about the person for whom I'm posting, let me know, and I'll contact him].  Thanks, SleepBrother

Has he looked at nasal pillows?  My personal favorites are the Breeze with nasal pillows or the Swift

Nasal pillows "masks", as Okie suggested, are very popular and comfortable for many people.

Aeiomed's Aura
Puritan Bennett's Breeze (with nasal pillows)
ResMed's Swift

There are others, but those are the ones I personally like best.

Don't judge any of the nasal pillows interfaces by pictures of them.  Several look like they'd be clumsy, heavy, or awkward.  They are amazingly light when you actually try them on.

Ditto.  I liked the ResMed Activa nasal mask but switched to the Resmed Flight nasal pillows.  The thought of nasal pillows was more off-putting than the actal use.  It might take a couple days, but I'd concur your friend should try the nasal pillow set-up.  The ResMed Flight is a very minimal set-up.
