Still no REM sleep with the mask. What does that mean?

Post Still no REM sleep with the mask. What does that mean?
I am new to the whole apnea and I am confused.  I did the second sleep study with the CPap machine and my results showed that I did not get any REM sleep still.  Is this normal?  I went to 9 cm and was fine that way but still no REM.  I thought the point was to get some good sleep along with having good breathing.  I am tired or being tired!
If anyone can shed some light on this I would love it!

Just because you didn't get to REM during the titration doesn't mean you won't ever get there.  I did, but I'm not sure how given that environment with electrodes, wires, weird equipment sounds and the sensation of being in a strange place with someone monitoring your every movement.  I honestly can't say if it's normal or not, but I wouldn't think you're the exception.
