Post cpap and recovery from surgery
hi everyone, just wanted to put some things out there. diagnosed 1 month ago with severe apnea, 40% oxy 100 episodes, ins got me oxy bottle then cpap within 10 days. remarkable luck i guess. resmed cpap auto flex (didnt have a clue about those till i found this forum) ends up being a perfect fit for me even is a pressure of 20 moves my body practically. anyway went in for major surgery oct 26 and came through great. i truly believe that without the month of use and subsequent use after surgery i would not be typing today. my outlook on the future is rosy and i give as much credit for that to the cpap as the surgery. so in closing just want to say i hope your mask leaks are the worst problems you find and things get better and better for all

Welcome Dave!!

I am so glad that everything has gone so quickly and smoothly for you.  We really appreciate the input.  People usually only post when they are having troubles, so folks get the mistaken perception that CPAP therapy is difficult for everyone and then wonder if it is worth it because of the problems they are having.  Thank you for confirming what we always say, it definitely is worth it!!
