Post afib and sleep studies
I tried to search on this and got programming errors, so if it has been covered, please excuse --

I was in afib for my sleep study.  I am going in for titration on Wed. and if my body holds to its schedule (there actually is a pattern) I probably won't be in afib for that.  Is that going to mess up the study?  Does anyone know whether afib affects the sleep studies at all?

It's a shame -- I almost feel like they should re-do the study and see what happens when I am not in afib.  However, I don't want to throw another "slow down" in the road here.

Would one be better off getting an auto-pap if they thought there were significant differences in their sleep patterns from one night to another?  My understanding is that the pressure just has to do with physical layout, so that probably that would not be necessary.

If one loses weight do the settings often change?

Judy

PS.  I couldn't figure out where to email this, so if anyone wants to know the error page I got, here is the text.
