After my last post, I immediately called the DME provider my insurance uses, and tried to schedule an appointment for immediately after my titration.  Ok that didn't work - since they claim to need the results/settings, etc.  Although I thought that was something I could probably do myself -  they said they needed the prescription.  

So I called the sleep center to ask them to fax a script - of course no dice.  They too said not until after the doctor reviews the titration.  So I told them in that case I needed an earlier (than next tuesday) study as I was going out of the country next friday and wanted to have all this behind me.  They scheduled me for Sunday.

While Sunday is good, I figured Friday or Saturday would be better so I called again today, very nicely I might add, and asked them to make sure to call me if anyone cancels for Friday or Saturday.  What do you know - they had an opening for Friday!  Will wonders never cease!

To be clear, I wasn't rude or anything, I wasn't even pushy - just inquisitive and it certainly paid off!  Figured I'd post this here in case someone else feels they are waiting too long and wants ideas on how to resolve that!
