If you or your family member/child has had a PH Probe, what was the protocol for reflux meds such as a PPI (Prevacid/Prilosec/Zegerid/Aciphex)?  My son is scheduled for a PH Probe on Thursday night as part of a sleep study.  The GI says pull the meds.  The sleep specialist says continue them.  Any experience at all here, whether or not the probe was for a sleep study, would be GREATLY appreciated!!

I had mine done for asthma, and normally they like to pull the meds for a week or so I was told.  However, I was not aware I was having the test and was only off the meds for a day.  They were shocked at how high it was with only being off the meds for a day.  So the test can still work if the reflux is bad enough.
