Post Now he sleeps and I can't
HELP

My husband has been using CPAP for a couple of years and for this I am happy. However, now he sleeps and I can't. It isn't fair. His mask slips many times during the night and I am awakened by a noise that makes me think I am in the middle of a wind tunnel. If I poke him and sometimes move his mask myself it stops, for a time, and then resumes.

He will order a new mask which is better (not completely quiet)  but it gets worse quickly and we are back to square one. It is frustrating as solving this problem is out of my control. I need HIM to do something. I wake up from the noise and then get so mad as I lie awake in bed and he sleeps like a a baby. This can't be good for MY health. I have tried ear plugs but then I can't hear my daughter if she wakes and they get very uncomfortable. So I am now in another room on a futon.

HELP

I don't know what kind of mask your husband uses, but some of us are using Mack's Pillow Soft Silicone Putty ear plugs which can be molded into a rope and used around the perimeter of the sleep mask for both nose protection and to get a good seal.  Unless he has facial hair this may help to keep it in place and not slip around.  Just a thought.
