Post cute avatars/emoticons
Since PuhJommies has amused me with those emoticons, I thought I'd show a few favs I've collected (er, stolen).  I don't want too many shown in the main Help forum because they can be distracting. So I thought I'd move more of the fun to here.
(well, fun for me, anyhow)
 Rolling Eyes

This one I created awhile back from some website:

This one was one of my favs on another forum:

This one I stole fair and square from someone here (reminds me of PuhJommie's avatar):

Another welcoming one (did I steal it from you?):
I'm a cat lover:

... and a squirrel lover:

Another version of one of my favs:

Another one I think I stole from someone here:

I've been feeling this way a lot lately:

And I couldn't resist putting this in that I found:

Heh heh.... I happen to know something about this  LOL

place cursor over the graphic you want.
right click on mouse Laughing
choose save picture as
(this will allow you to save it to your hard drive) You may want to have a designated folder for emotes so you know where to find them

In order to use them on message boards etc ~
Open a FREE account such as www.photobucket.com
Upload your graphics from your hard drive into photobucket
You will find codes for all sorts of situations... use the [img] one for most Bulletin boards

I attempted to "borrow" one of the avatars shown here but when I tried to add it to my profile, it denied the request as the avatar size is too large.  Is there a way to shrink it?

I want to tell PuhJommies how much I like her avatar.  At least once a visit, I watch it through several times and get a good laugh.  The alarm clock gets to me!

Crohnie, I like your slinky too - and your message at the bottom of your postings.

Linda, your avatar is the prettiest.

Crohnie, my husband found a Youtube video about a human slinky.
This is the URL where I found it and I hope it works.

Hi Junebug,

The best way to add an avatar to your profile is to use the option:  "Link to off-site URL"

But to do that you have to upload your graphic to an internet site that creates URLs for graphics.  PuhJommies and I use www.photobucket.com
It's free to use and there are other similar websites.  It creates several URL tags that can be copied and pasted or used.  Once you've uploaded a photo to photobucket or wherever, use the created URL for it in the "Link to off-site URL" in your profile.  A URL is an internet address, usually starting as http: // ...

But please make sure if you do this that the graphic isn't particularly large in dimensions, similar looking in size as the others used.  In photobucket you can actually reduce the size of a larger graphic to a thumbnail size.

Sounds complicated.  But if you use the first option, you have to have some software which crops or reduces the size of your graphic, both in dimension and number of pixels, and that can be hard to do since most graphics are too large for that first profile option.

Awwww, thanks.  I can't even remember where I ...um, stole, that from.  lol

CrohnieToo, I have always loved your slinky avatar.  I'm always glad to see you posting, so I can watch the slinky!

Thanks, I have to admit both the quote and avatar/emoticon were "purloined" from elsewhere. I don't even know who to credit w/the quote as that person had purloined it too. I'm ashamed to admit off the top of my head I don't remember the wonderful person who found the Slinky emoticon and sent it to me, nor the dear soul who sized it for me. RED-FACE. Altho I do have both their IDs tucked away safely.

Frances! Thank you so much for the link to the human slinky. I'm on my way to check it out now!!!!
