I have been looking for those "Green Thingys" the stores are starting to put out thier christmas stuff now so I should hopefully find them soon, as soon as I do I will post what they are called and where to get them. As for the beard it broke my heart when I had to trim it up. And if I can ever find a mask that will work for me with a full beard, Santa will be back!

White Beard, I'm also looking for those green things. I already looked in a couple places to no avail as of yet, but I'm still plugging. If I find them, I too wil post. I can't wait to implement your creative fix. You know what would be nice? If the mask manufacturer made a similar contraption that could be optionally added if you needed it.

I E-mailed the manufacturer the other day with an explanation and jpegs of my fix. I am hoping that they will either incorporate it into the mask or as you said make it an optional accessory. They should be experts, so I am sure they can improve upon it. or I guess they could make it worse and screw it up. But let us be optimistic. White Beard

White Beard,
Sounds like a good time to file a petition for a patent!!!
I just had an image flash through my mind. I can see White Beard jumping out of bed at 3 o'clock in the morning wondering why his nose is hurting only to find his rubberband broke.

I suppose it could happen but hasn't yet if it does I will be thinking of what you said!!! I found the "Green Thingys" These are just slightly different got a little curve on one end of it, but works the same I have tried it on mine and it works fine, just a little more difficult to loop the large hair elastic around, but it definitely won't slip off either. Anway They are call Tree/Net Light Clips made by Gemmy Industries Corp. Item # 81038-T and you can purchase them at Target Stores $1.99 for a package of 25 clips. I got them today at our local Target store. Hope this helps Good Luck White Beard

WhiteBeard, I think you should now start working on a mask that will accomodate a full beard..BUT don't tell the mask companies...put the $$ in your pocket!
As for the elastic breaking...remember snapping pieces of paper with an elastic at people in school? Hmmmm, you could set the mask up to double as a weapon against burglers!

I just did a google for tree net light clips and got several hits to online Christmas stores selling them too. Nearly all clips match the pictures you provided, or are very close as you noted with your latest purchase.
Ordering online is going to cost another dollar to two, and there is probably an order minimum as well. But if anyone can't find them locally, they can still be had. Hats off to you White Beard for the idea.
Blessings,

Thats Great pseudonym at least now if anyone has a problem with these nasal pillows they can at least get the parts and try this method. I use it everynight, and will continue using it until I can come up with something better, or someone else does and shares it. Thanks White Beard

I went to the local Target, and they don't (yet) have the Gemmy clips. I went to Gemmy's web site, and they don't even list it, unless I did something wrong. But I did find a site that has what appears to be the original clip shown in the pics on this forum. They sell a package of 50 for $3.00. I don't know what the shipping charges are.
PM me for the site address if you're interested.
