Hi Michelle, Welcome to the boards!!! A titration study is a just a sleep study but the difference is they will put the mask on and try different pressures while your daughter is asleep trying to determine what helps her the most. She will still be hooked up to all the wires and such- just add the mask to the equation.
It sounds like you are doing well with introducing her to the mask. I think usually with most kids it is a process. My daughter started when she was eight. I think she wore the mask for about two hours at a time for like the first two weeks. Gradually she got used to it and the time just kept increasing.Just start slow, stay positive and try not to get too frustrated at first. It really takes time. For us I had her sleep with me for the first week to keep her from being scared and to help with the adjustments and such. After the first week I moved her back to her room and slept on her floor for a few nights until I was comfortable leaving her alone( I still have a night vision monitor on her though-call me paranoid!) I am hoping others will have better tips. Hang in there and keep us posted. We will try to help!
