Custom Made Mask? Where?

Post Custom Made Mask? Where?
Where can I get a custom made CPAP mask, molded to my face and with my own specifications? I'd rather pay for it out of pocket than keep wasting money on useless masks that don't fit or cause side effects. There has to be somebody out there that makes masks.  Please advise.

Swan,

We haven't seen any custom made masks on this forum.  There are some gel material masks that you can heat up and have them mold to your face like the Comfort Gel mask by Respironics.

You can also have a custom bite plate with nasal pillows attached made by a dentist who specializes in sleep disorders.  I know someone who had one custom made and loves it.  You can find these dentists in the top posts of the "Dential Appliance" section.

Swan, you may mean the Australian company that makes these masks.  You do have to travel to OZ if you're not already there!

They make two masks, called "The Logical Mask!" and "The Anderson Mask!".  They are made by Anderson Innovations, the website is www dot sleepapneamasks dot com dot au (can I do it that way, here?).  If this gets removed then google around with words like CPAP mask custom fit australia etc.

Hope that helps, Blessings,

Interesting you did not mention this to me.
I just found out by chance today about the anderson and Logical mask. and have dropped them a line to find out what it will cost.

Sorry, Ramboaus, I didn't mention these because you were/are interested in full face masks?  These are nasal only.

Please do check into it and let us know?  I realize OZ is a big place but you're closer to them than I am Smile  Maybe they're within reach to be able to go SEE them.

Blessings,

Yes I realise I is a  nasal mask, yet it is good to know that some one close by (three hours drive to Kangaroo Valley where the business is based) has actively tried to address our sorrows.

The first Andersion version is more like Silence of the Lamb mask the second version which is called Logical seems a logical solution. Have to figure out by experiencing first hand and also depends on how expensive they are. Cheers
