OK so I may be a bit of an OVERACHIEVER!! But the past 4 days I took a very mentally tough and physically grueling class
in Nonviolent Physical Crisis Intervention. I am proud to say I am now a certified instructor!! YAY!!! So besides being an ICU Charge RN;I have my national certification in Critical Care-CCRN (I require many more continuing education hours than the ICU RN not certified); I teach ACLS(advanced Cardiac Life Support);am the Coordinator for the Southern Nevada A.W.A.K.E. support group; now I'm going to teach Crisis Intervention. I still plan on coming on this forum and learning;giving suggestions. I think I need days to last 40 hours. Do you guys agree?

Frances-certified? or do you mean more like I'm certifiable???? I do feel like that at times when I have a ton of things going on and need to clone myself.

Congrats, Barb! Hey, I've been feeling so good since I started my treatment, I enrolled in college. I'm 47 and never went, so I'm finally going to get my degree in IT. I started this past March.

40 hours would be nice, so long as I get enough time to be a hose head!
