let's be honest, not everyone sees improvements. Some see tremendous improvements, however. And then there are things which could be linked to OSA but actually have otehr causes. He should keep working on it, and assume there is another factor involved.
I, for instance, noticed hardly any improvements BUT when I last checked my blood pressure it was so low that I think I am going to stop taking magnesium supplements to bring it down.

Does he have other things that could contribute to high blood pressure like weight?  Does he see a difference in how he is feeling?  Specifically, what other health related problems are you talking about?

It took my dh several months (at least 6) to really get used to the machine and start feeling better.  I remember him going back into the doctor not too long after getting his c-pap, and he reported to said doctor that he wasn't noticing a huge difference in how he felt.  Fast forward 8 years, and the use of the c-pap was so ingrained into him that when it cratered, he was miserable the entire time.  He really depends on the c-pap.
