Hello! My son was just diagnosed with OSA. He is 11 months. We see an ENT next week. I have so many questions. Mostly, now, I am so worried about him at night. And, surgery seems overwhelming to me. I had my tonsils out Oct '03 and it was awful. Still, I want him to be able to breath. Any BTDT advice?

Hi Shawn. I am sorry that your son has been diagnosed with OSA, it is scary, especially when we lay them in bed at night and then worry. I know the feeling, have been there and still am there.
I thought you would like to check out this site: www.itonsils.com it discusses a new technique in the removal of adnoids and tonsils that is supposed to be easier and recovery shorter, it is the PITA technique.
