I have been using my cpap for a few weeks and one problem I am having is waking up with excessive bloating from air in my stomach.  I am burping and (unfortunately for my wife) passing alot of gas.  I use a full face make and my psi is set on 14.  This is very uncomfortable and was wondering if anyone else has experience with this side effect.

Unfortunately, I have have been experiencing the same symptoms.  I have only been on cpap about 3 weeks and I use only a nasal pillow.  My RT said it happens to some people and  if it continues to be a problem, I need to speak with my sleep doctor and he may need to lower my pressure.  I was relieved to find out I was "normal", but the discomfort is horrible.
