Post Full Face Masks
Hi Everyone!!

I've spent the last 14 months going through full face masks from Darth Vardar to Ultra Mirage and finally was fitted during my sleep study last night with one new to the market.  It is a Fisher Paykel Flexifitâ„¢ 431 and has several positive features not seen in the all of the masks I have tried.  The most important one being that it holds my higher pressure and doesn't honk all night waking me up.  It was very comfortable too and the exhaust port is designed so that it is quiet and doesn't "blow air on your partner", how thoughtful!  Yeah, I finally really slept  Applause !!

I have the FF431 and it blows air on my partner all night. There seems to be one larger hole on the front that blows a solid stream of air straight out of the front of the mask. I wonder if that is how it is supposed to be or if that is why it seems like the pressue isn't high enough and is causing me to still snore when I use that mask.

Hi Cyber,

My current full time partners are cats and they don't complain, so even though F&P said the mask was designed not to blow on partners, it may well be.  If you are snoring however, that needs to be addressed pronto.  It is likely your pressure isn't high enough, so call your doc.
