Hee hee, that's true!
Well, I'm in today due to the snow and ice storm that just blew through the northeast. I just cooked a turkey breast in my rotisserie and now my two girls are looking at me as if to say, "Well, woman, when is dinner being served?"
Here are my two, Peanut (in the back) and JD, a bit hard to see in my avatar:

Again, even more photos like my big, black, shiny Ripley boy!
I, too, am housebound with this storm. I'm in Massachusetts. I just tried to venture out and got stuck in my driveway. The snow's not very deep, but it's very dense. I'm in a condo, and luckily, the guys were out plowing and they helped me. It's nasty out there but at least it's not as bad as up-state New York.
Oooooooooo ... nice, warm turkey breast sounds good to me! Today is a good day for my mom's home-made chicken soup!

We had a beautiful day in FL today. The high was 69° and there was hardly a cloud in the sky.
Here's our Russian Black:

Same here, SnickersPie, I'm in northwestern NJ. I'm also in a condo. We started out with snow, then ice, then more snow. It looks like we got about six inches. Hard to tell with the winds and drifting.
My kitties, bellies full of turkey, are happily snoozing.
I have to get a photo of JD on her back. She has the cutest white markings. She has two large patches on her chest and one on her belly. She looks like she's wearing a white bikini!
Handsome kitty, hhopper!

Oh, sure, Hhopper! Rub it in! I've been to Florida a few times ... love it, but you have some "serious" insects down there! On one of our trips, we stayed right on Miami beach. It poured every night, but the days were beautiful. I was stung by a jellyfish ... a childhood memory I will never forget. I thought I was being eaten by a shark, and my poor mother almost had a heart attack when she saw me flailing around in the water.
Love that Russian Black!

Yes, I am housebound here in PA here. I think the furboys are getting cabin fever; if there wasn't endless episodes of Feline Championship Wrestling, Popeye was howling in the windows or at the door. Poor guy; he doesn't understand it's too cold and snowy to be let out.
I have to catch Spanky belly up sometime; he's got the cutest spots on his underside.

Especially after what happened to Jeff Corwin! How freaky was that?
Thankfully, I was stung by a jellyfish and not a man of war. Didn't even see the thing! Scary stuff in your waters! The life guard came and instructed my mom to put witch hazel on the stings. The welts went away pretty quickly, but scared the heck out of us.
