Hi, I dont know if any of you will remember me. I posted on here a long time ago.

I was 19 and diagnosed with obstructive sleep apnea. I had a terrible doctor who blamed my apnea on my weight (at the time I was heavier) but because he was a doctor I listened to him and lost weight (almost 40lbs) and was now at a healthy weight and still suffering. I had been given a Cpap machine which I rarely used, I hate/ed that thing with a passion. Until recently I believed what the original doctor had said, that I could not have my tonsils removed because my mouth and throat were too small to withstand all of the scar tissue. Well I decided to find a new doctor who after testing decided that I was a perfect canidate for a tonsilectomy.

Last month I successfully had my tonsils removed, and the DAY they were removed my apnea subsided. I no longer am exausted, or lethargic, I sleep soundly, do not annoy my family or boyfriend, my favorite thing is that I dream now. I hated that when I began having apnea my dreams went away, now I look forward to going to sleep every night.

Thank you all for your support I hope you all find the help you need! And dont just stick to one doctor, ask and ask and ask!
