St. Anthony’s Sleep Disorders Center has a CPAP support group called A.W.A.K.E. (Alert, Well and Keeping Energetic).  This group is for sleep apnea patients and families to meet with other people who live with CPAP and to discuss ways of better living with their machines.  We have speakers at each meeting that focus on topics related to sleep apnea, weight loss, exercise, nutrition and many other topics.  At each meeting, you can bring your machine or mask and have your pressure checked or ask questions about your mask if you are having problems.

-    Pre-meetings (for equipment checks) start at 6:30 p.m.

-    Actual meeting is held from 7 - 8 p.m.

-    Monthly meetings are held the fourth Tuesday each month.

The meetings are held at St. Anthony’s Hospital, Classrooms 1 & 2 located on the ground floor near the Sleep Disorders Center (there will be signs posted).  Please park on the first floor of the parking garage located at 1200 Seventh Ave. N. and follow the posted signs once inside the hospital.

For additional questions or directions, please call 727-820-7424 or e-mail sleepdisorderscenter-SAHC@baycare.org.
