I read somewhere, maybe it was here, that you should let your dentist know if you are on CPAP for sleep apnea. What is the reason for this? I am needing to have some dental work done and want to know what to expect. I am a "BIG" chicken when it comes to the dentist and always need laughing gas, will I still be able to use it? :-(
Hi,
Where any form of anaesthesia is to be used, it is imperative that you inform the doctor/dentist/surgeon etc that you have OSA.
Check the FAQ section.
Once your dentist is aware of your condition he can take certain steps to ensure that you will be OK.
