Have your husband take the snore score test (link to the left of forum titles), then see a doctor who is a diplomate of the ABSM (see my doctor certifications under "Interesting Links")

its very hard to help someone who refuses to be helped, you could tape record or videotape him when asleep and not breathing to show your GP doc in the hope he can think of someway to get thru to husband

Post irrational and abusive "husband"
You've talked to him. You've been inconvenienced and abused by his behavior. He demonstrates that he cares more for his delusions than for your emotional of physical health.

Sometimes you just have to decide what's important.

Don Miguel Ruiz once wrote that we only accept the abuse from others that we are willing to give to ourselves.

HE is responsible for HIS health. YOU are responsible for YOURS.

Draw boundaries around what is acceptable and appropriate behavior. Obviously, being able to get a good night's sleep in a bed is just as important for you as it is for him. Why isn't HE sleeping on the couch?

Safety is important, yet he STILL smokes in the house after you've asked him not to due to his irresponsible behavior.

You don't need a doctor... you need a lawyer.

Just my humble opinion,
Donna
