Post BIPAP, APAP and BIPAP auto
I've exhausted (literally) my attempts to use a CPAP with ramp, heated humidifier and Star flex.  I can't get enough air in on ramp and can't breath out on regular.  Been fighting it since August.  I think I want a BIPAP auto machine.  Can someone explain how these machines are working for them.  Thanx.

Hey Roustabout:

I can't help you with recommendations on any of the machines.  I'm not on one yet.  Soon!!!

Can I suggest that you repost your question up in either the general section or in the CPAP/CPAP Mask section?   I just happened to look down and see your post.   Those who may be able to help you better will see your post in the other sections!

Good Luck!

I started with a BiPAP machine two weeks ago and wouldn't have it any other way. I get a full nights sleep and my energy levels are almost back to normal. I never used a CPAP system and the full-face mask is actually fairly easy to get used to.

The equipment I have is a ResMed Ultra Mirage Full Face mask and a Respironics BiPAP Auto with Bi-Flex Bi-Level. (Not sure what it all means, but that's how it's labeled http://bipapauto.respironics.com/.)

Good luck.

Post thank you
Congratulations on your success.  I want that, too.  I'll try once again to get my sleep doctor's attention.
