Here it the link to The Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine (ADSM).  You can find information on dental devices for Obstructive Sleep Apnea as well as finding a ADSM dentist.

The ADSM is a great organization (I am a member), but you can also find a long list of appliances on ApneaDocs.com, as well as search for dentists.

Dr. Smith,
Thanks for the link to apneadocs.com, but I can't find the long list of appliances you mention.  Where is it on the site?
Vivian

p.s.  Also, although you mention that you are a member of ADSM, you don't disclose that you are co-director of Dental Organizations for Sleep Apnea, which runs the apneadocs.com website.  Maybe you should.

Sorry Vivbd. I don't typically do that because I don't want to sound like I'm trying to impress anyone, but you are probably right. Anyway, it's almost impossible to find that list of appliances, so here it is. Let me know if you have any questions. http://www.apneadocs.com/pages/Appliances.htm

Thanks, Dr. Smith, for pointing me to the list of appliances on the apneadocs.com website.  It is very informative.  I'll probably be posting more questions as I go through this process, so perhaps we'll be in touch again.

Post Directory and Appliance Information
Two sites for the public are also available with information and dentist referral services:

Quietsleep.com has been available on the web for over 12 years.  The site has a list of appliances and their descriptions as well as a "Find a Dentist" section.  Information is available for both the public and doctors.

SnoringIsntSexy.com is a relatively new site - we are in process of establishing a United States and Canada network of doctors who are available in over 300 cities so that one is never without a resource for oral appliance therapy.

Finally, we are in process of establishing a Snoring Isn't Sexy group at Facebook and welcome all to join.

Another great site is the American Academy of Craniofacial Pain (http://www.aacfp.org/) who also have highly qualified dentists.
