Anyway, I found out that I have very severe sleep apnea, so I am very glad that my husband said something. I am having 136 events per hour, and my O2 saturation dropped to 78% (no wonder I have headaches in the morning). My sleep efficiency was 60%, and I did not have any time spent in stage 3 or 4 sleep or in REM. I must have REM sleep sometimes, though, because I occasionally remember dreaming. But none that night. I am awaiting my Bi-PAP machine now. Fortunately, my ECG was normal
Oh, and the tech commented that if I snored like that at her house, she would put me out on the curb. I am just so relieved to find out that I have a treatable problem, and it's not just that I'm lazy, crazy, or getting old. I actually have hope now that some day I will have a clean house again and be able to stay up past dinnertime!!! I did have to shake my head when the doctor said "You really should exercise more and lose some weight." Uhhhh, do you see anything on this report that might explain why I don't HAVE any energy??? I've gained the weight recently, so maybe it's because of the sleep problem?
But seriously, I will focus on losing some weight once I get some energy back.
Thanks! I plan to be a frequent visitor to these boards now.
