Post New Here-Diagnosed in March '06
Hi Everyone!
I am a regular poster on cpaptalk's forum and I just discovered this site.
I just wanted to say hello and introduce myself.
I am a 37 year old woman who was diagnosed in March of this year with OSA.
I am a positive thinker and enjoy the CPAP forums.
I was just recently diagnosed with Osteoarthritis in my left knee, which is a
degenerative condition that causes a patient to lose their cartilage.I also have a displaced
kneecap and I am facing hours and hours of grueling physical threapy and surgery if the PT
doesn't work.
I love to roller skate-and I am committed to skating again, arthritis,or not.
The arthritis and the Sleep Apnea together ensure that I never sleep or feel good/rested on most days.
I sell advertising for a living and acrylic paint in my spare time.I am a natural blonde
with really long hair all the way down my back, hence Rapunzel111.

I am very happy in my life and I feel there isn't anything that is impossible!
I have come to realize that living well is all about attitude-mind over matter!
I wish each and every one of you sweet dreams, peaceful sleep, peace of mind and abundant joy.
God bless all of those who enter here and read these posts-
May we all stick together.
-Rapunzel111 Smile

Welcome aboard, Rapunzel!

I'm glad you found us, feel free to offer suggestions.  A number of people here frequent more than one online forum.  We look forward to seeing you around.

Gosh, I have osteoarthritis in my knees and it scares me.  It affects me lots.  It hasn't kept me from sleeping, just other important things, like walking and standing and kicking those who need it.

You seem to have a great outlook on life.  I could sure learn from you.  Mind over matter, eh?  I'll see what I can do.
Thanks for the great words.

Linda
