hello Ohiotexan

Grinding your teeth while asleep is call Bruxisim. Before I was diagnosed with apnea my dentist made an night guard. There is a relationship between apnea and bruxism.I'm am not sure if this condition has got better since cpap(never really knew I ever did grind my teeth).Stress and anxiety are other big factors

A Sleep Apnea Oral Appliance is used to keep the airway open thus preventing apneas

Hello OhioTexan (who would you EVER leave Texas?),

Try going to this site about the NTI, which is (in my opinion) the best device for preventing grinding, but it also helps prevent tension headaches, migraines, etc.. You can search for a dentist who makes these on that site. Alternately, the TAP appliance has a mechanism that acts much like the NTI, and works to control your sleep apnea as well. If you want to read about more appliances, you can go here
