I finally was able to get my machine programed for ramping up pressure. After an hour the pressure seemed to be the same but the number on the machine had gone up from the starting pressure (4.0 upto 7.0). Did I program it wrong or should I try again tonight and see how it goes?

I had that happen to me too.  After reading several posts on here, I think that you were just getting used to it.  I ramp mine down at first too and I'm not sure how long it takes to ramp back up but I think it does it so gradually that you're not really aware of it and by the time it gets to the highest setting, you're used to it.

I have been successfull for  4 nights using the ramp and the Resmed Ultra Mirage. It feels great to find a combination that works. I still have a red mark on the bridge of my nose, but the mask is a lot more comfortable than the Respironics.
