I am new to all this& it's a little confusing.I had ad a 2 night study which i was GRATEFUL for!! The respiratory therapist was wonderful both times! I had this done in a sleep lab @ a hospital which a neurologist oversees. He never sees the Pt. just inteperts all the readings. I realyy would have liked to have had a chance to talk with him & have everything explqined to me though. I was refered by my ENT after having a uvulaectomy & seeptoplasty over 5 yrs. ago due to Horrible loud snoring. Surgery worked until a little over a year ago then he cauterized in my nose. Ouch! When this didn't help he sugested another surgery & this is when I ASKED for a sleep study!! I was diagnosis of significant obstructive apnea. No further appointments with the ENT as far as I know. So my lab expierence was as good as possible under the circumstances.
