Post Software for REMstar Auto ?
My Medtronic Sullivan is wearing out (after 12 years) and I'm looking for a replacement unit that allows me to be more aware & in control of my treatment.

I am looking at the Respironic REMstar Auto (w Cflex) and am interested in aqquiring the software that will allow me to analyze the data that is store in the unit to learn more of how I am breathing at nite.  My review of the respironic.com indicates that there is software for providers.

Is there any other sofware available for these units?  Is there a way for a consumer to aqquire the software?

My current insurance pays little, and I would rather put money into the unit than into a sleep study (which tells me that I need a CPAP)

Many thanks,
   dauza

Currently the only software that is available is the one you mentioned.  There is a bit of software that was written that presents the data in a much nicer format, but it still requires you to have originally purchased the software.

dausa,

The software you are looking for is available to the consumer at cpap.com. You can also download a third party software (for free) called MyEncore the add enhanced functionality to the Respironics Encore Pro software.

Thanks Redaw!  I found both software packages on cpap.com, as well as the 2 reviews which discuss features & use.

Many thanks,
