Thank you, DVL. It did help a lot. This pulmo has been suggested the bi-level for me. I do have COPD and currently am on 02 for sleep. He has suggested that I do just an overnight oximetry the middle of next month and see what information we get now that I'm on 02 overnight (wasn't at the time of the current sleep study). Based on that info we will then proceed or not w/ordering a machine for me.
If we decide it is still a bi-level for me does anyone have any preferences from experience as to which brand/type might be best? I don't know if he prefers ResMed or if he just referred me to their site for further information he felt was easily understood.
I apologize for not replying sooner. We lost electric power whilst I was trying to respond to you but I thought my reply had gone thru just in time and then I was out of town only to have a doctor's appointment immediately the next day which sent me into a tailspin of more testing. This is the first I've even thought of the bi-level since getting home. Had a great time but wow, sure had a lot piling up when I did get home!! My momma told me there would be days like this but she forgot to tell me they would come in bunches like bananas!!!
