 strange
i dont read that as rude at all. maybe a bit cheeky.
think its more of the way its read.
i find its a mistake to read any tone into someones posts or emails.
maybe clarify intent with the person first
sorry you read it as rude.
i dont have cable and therefore cannot see the show. which was why i was hoping he had put his story on the forums already. guess he hasnt.
but i do not require your assistance or 'guest' either.
the two of you have been helpful enough thanks.

scttkrkwd,
Harley was a loud snorer and was suffering from excessive daytime fatigue and other health problems, including heart trouble.
His problem was misdiagnosed (hence, the "Mystery Diagnosis" connection)
He had a sleep study done.
He was diagnosed with obstructive sleep apnea.
He was prescribed CPAP.
He went on CPAP.
He feels better.
The end.
And the amazing thing is, I didn't even watch the Mystery Diagnosis episode!

and incase you miss the sarcasm, guys, the attitude is not warranted.
i was hoping to see if his symptoms were like mine.
this was a serious question and if you took offense to the way i asked it. sorry, thats your ego not mine.
guest if you would like to say anything else feel free to register, and we can discuss privately.

Enough already!! I haven't been able to hang out here as much lately. Here is the link to my (not Harley's) original post. I had put it in Late NIght and should of put the link to it in my airing time posts:

My, My, My.....now children, play nice!
Sounds like someone needs a NAP!!!!
Sorry....couldn't resist! But, hey, I saw this this morning so I MISSED IT!! And I do love Mystery DX as until my sleep studies my DX was a mystery! So many things have overlapping symptoms
I'm sure there are planty of nice folks here to jump in an try to help others. With this brain fog thing I can't always decipher what I need and find it. So if I need help I'll give a shout and if I can ever give help I'll gladly do that, too!

If anyone were to post these links for you, they would do it by first running a SEARCH on key words such as "Harley," "Howard," "Mystery Diagnosis" etc. Then the would take the results and post the links. But probably the reason no one has done this for you is that reasonable people would stop and ask themselves "why can't you do that yourself?"
Ok. Lets stop with these. Not everyone has the same level of experience on forums or the internet. I will chalk this up to lack of sleep, but in the future, please refrain from these type of posts.

 finally!
I finally got to see it!! Yea!! For those who missed it, I'm sure it will be on again. As a fan of the show, I know they've played that one about the ice cream over and over!! Since I'm still new to OSA, it feels validating to see something like this on t.v. Anytime there's something about OSA on t.v., I'm yelling at everyone to watch it and saying "I know what they're talking about! Me too me too!" My 10 yr old son watched it with me (yeah, I know, he was up a little late last night) and it was enlightening for him. I was afraid it would scare him, because I realized that I really didn't tell him too much about "Mommy's Sleep Disorder," but he was just fine with it; he thought it was "cool." Anyway, being in Southern California, I feel kinda proud to be so close to the "star" Harley, and glad I finally got to see it!

I need to get in here more often (but I am usually asleep in my chair) Does Discovery replay shows a lot like some of the other "specialty" channels? I would of loved to see that, to bad I'm a month late and a show short.
~~~OOPS--I must of dozed off and not saw that there was 3 pages, missed it by a day but will hopefully catch it when/if it reairs.
