 Thanks again, Harley !!!!
My husband watched the Mystery Diagnosis which featured you this afternoon with me.
We got out my sleep study results - when they talked about your REM sleep - airway closing and tachy episode ................ and there it was on my study - same thing. This happened 62 times throughout the night.
When you said that you couldn't even put your head on the back of the recliner because of the pain ---- my hubby's jaw just dropped open - really !!!!. This is what I have been telling my doctor's for 5-1/2 years !!! My head constantly has felt as if it were going to explode. Dizzy, exhausted, and in pain.
Soooooooooooooo ---- thanks from BOTH of us - my hubby and I both send you a big hug. Hopefully a lot of people see this show - and lights will go on for them as well.
I so hope PBS will do a documentary on sleep disorders -------- what a wide audience to be reached !!!
Keep up the good work ...... you have become a poster child !!!!
Many blessings .........
Nancy

Hey Harley!
Saw the program on the 16th and it was great - no mystery to US, right?? So glad you are doing well now! I kept nodding and going "EXACTLY!" throughout the whole segment! Great job - kudos to you and your wife!
Take care!!

If you click on Harley Howard's user name, you can select "view all posts by user" in the pop-up window. Hope this is helpful!

 about the search
yeah i did that. it listed his posts that were in this thread and a few others, not of the right topic.
links are handier than searches.

 re a little help
that GUEST right above, is me.
'justcrash' and 'guest' it seems harley howard has switched user names maybe. shows he has made only 7 posts, when i try and see all the posts by harley. which i found out when i tried to search his posts, before i posted the original request here.
i am very aware of how the internet and forums in specific work.
so, once again a link to the topic would be appreciated.

Nobody has these links stored away in a special file. If anyone were to post these links for you, they would do it by first running a SEARCH on key words such as "Harley," "Howard," "Mystery Diagnosis" etc. Then the would take the results and post the links. But probably the reason no one has done this for you is that reasonable people would stop and ask themselves "why can't you do that yourself?"

 ugh
if you dont know just say so, or dont post at all
have either of you tried a search? with all this bickering we are having you could have just posted a link. or some kind of helpful guidance.
so far none of your 'help' has come to anything.
i dont tink there is anything regarding his issue on the forum at all, only his appearance in the show.
oh yeah, and i HAVE been searching. thats why i am asking for a link.
you guys are a terrible representation for this forum.

Here's your guidance: Watch Mystery Diagnosis on either MAY 08 2006 @ 10:00 PM or MAY 09 2006 @ 01:00 AM. That should answer all your questions.
Or you can try the link at the top of the page marked "Search." Or you can try this new invention called "Google."
Let us know if you need anything else!

Since you seem to be lost as to why we are a "poor representation of the forum", please, allow me to at least do you that service. This is where you went wrong:
scttkrkwd wrote:sure would be nice if new people could be linked to the posts from harley about his apnea.
Either you are so socially inept that you truly can not see how that tone puts people on the defensive automatically or you knew and didn't care, and welcomed the chance to play the wounded new guy.
Whatever.
I have no inclination to search for any of it, as I watched the show. Even with as of yet untreated moderate apnea I found a way to set my DVR and watch it. It answered all of my questions, and if you will notice, I didn't find a chance once, to get snippy about anything at all.
As a matter of a fact, to even the most untrained observer, its obvious any "snippyness" started with you. You can apologize and you and I can start over, which is cool. Or you can not. You not getting the chance to see the show (your loss) will not affect me in the least. That's all I have to say on that.
