Post How has CPAP worked for your child?
My daughter, Trinity, 3yo was diagnosed with OSA at 10 months and had a T&A at 13 months.  She still has sleep apnea.  My question to anyone reading this is how has CPAP worked for your child?  Trinity's first try with it, she did not tolerate it.  We recently moved to MAryland and are about to go through the whole sleep study, ENT and CPAP process again.  Does anyone have pointers on how I can make it work for my daughter?  She rips it off in her sleep.  Please I am open for any suggestions.  I need to make this work or the only option is Trach.

When my child was diagnosed with Sleep Apnea he was old enough to know that he felt better with it.  Don't get me wrong, we spent about 8 months of pure torture.  There were times that his alarm went off all night.  Needless to say he was getting all of the sleep and I got next to none.  We were persistent and it paid off.  It just takes time.  It will eventually work.  Keep putting it on.  It is just like new shoes.  You have to "break them in."

Best wishes from someone who knows.
