Post Dog Story
Every now and then my dog wants to be fed in the morning several hours earlier than normal.  Usually, I ignore him so he'll go back to sleep, but one day he accidently bumped my hose and CPAP.  I freaked and hopped up out of bed to check things....then was too awake to go back to bed.  So, I fed him.

Bad move on my part..... Now he intentionally bumps the hose because he knows it gets me up!!!!

Smart dog....bad owner.... Evil or Very Mad

One of my cats bites mine and shakes it to wake me up.  I've covered it with tube socks so that he can't bite through.  Anyone who says animals can't think...

Post Yet another dog story
I was VERY worried how our 5 dogs would react to the mask, equipment, and oxygen concentrator as news things are always a source of "concern".  As for the equipment, a few sniffs here and there sated their curiousity.  I just started my CPAP treatment on 02-11-06.   The first night, they seemed unconcerned about my mask and the odd noises in the room.  Second night was uneventful as well. In the morning though, one of the dogs seemed upset that she could not give kisses properly due to the mask. When she licked, I gently pushed her away. Odd behavior for mom.  She hasn't tried giving me the morning kiss ritual since.  On the morning of the 14th, a difference dog loomed over with a concerned expression, just watching.  This morning, yet another dog, climbed on top of me, and pawed at the mask as of to try and remove it from my face.

What I wouldn't give to be inside their heads for just a few moments.
