Grateful -
Same here. I've lost 6 lbs since being diagnosed, but I get stuck at my current weight and simply cannot lose past that. frustrating!!! I just had my 30th birthday and while I know my metabolism will only get worst, I remember being a teenager and being able to drop weight in an instant if I tried.

Thank Vicki.  I definately know that.  I know I am overweight because of the drugs I take especially the Lithium.
But I am very healthy becauseI eat very well!  I actually lost 10 lbs. Yesterday I was getting my salmon and vegies and this woman at work had her two snicker bars and she is very thin.  But who healthier? ME ME!!  Laughing

I'm in the same boat... albeit, with a wife, not a husband ;) She's almost 7 months pregnant, and thinks I am more interested in my apnea than the baby. I want to be around long enough to see lil Alex grow up when he enters this world, so I want to understand my condition to the best of my ability!

After I learned about it, I'm not so "obsessive" (as he would say). I just feel better when I understand. Try to take the time that she is away to read read read. By the time the baby comes, you'll know a lot if she's not even 7 months and you'll be able to fully focus on the baby.
