I found this link to be an interesting study regarding early childhood life and the effects it has on sleep apnea in the future.

Given that I breastfeed my daughter forever, Like Dr. Palmer, I'm a very strong proponent of breastfeeding for all of its many benefits.  His pictures and descriptions are great.  Keep in mind through, that his idea, while scientifically sound, is only a theory.  As he stated elsewhere, he hopes that people will be intriged enough to research the topic.

I think breastfeeding can be likened to using a dental appliance or orthodontics to change the palate structure and eliminate or decrease apnea.  Keep in mind, they are not 100% effective, but do help in some cases.

Anything to promote breastfeeding and decrease apnea!

Vicki
