Post Swift LT Mask
Hello Everyone - I contacted my DME two weeks ago to advise them that I would like to try the new Swift LT mask.  They said they would order it and it would be in within days.  I have called them back twice and they still don't have it in stock.

Has anyone else experienced this situation with not being able to get a Swift LT mask? Is there a shortage due to high demand for this mask?

And if you are one of those who are using this mask, how are things going with it?

Any info will be appreciated.

Thanks, Junebug

UPDATE!!!  10 minutes after I posted this, they called and said the Swift LT mask I requested had arrived. Applause

Hmmmm, do you suppose they read this forum?

I gave a quick review in another message thread.  had mine for about 3 weeks now.  I like it so far.  fits slightly different than the other swift because of how it fits on top of the nose rather than under it, and you have a slight change in the headgear that is a good improvement (velcro instead of plastic tabs).  they have improved the mask for slde/stomach sleeper and the leak rate / noise are great.

I just picked one of these up in my quest for a more resilient setup.  My initial impression is it is a lot less susceptible to leakage caused from my being a side sleeper and moving around, than the Optilife I'm using.  For me, the Res Med masks are working out better then the Respironics.

I got mine yesterday and used it last night. It seems really nice. I still need to adjust it little more and decide if I like the over the head hose option.

I had to have my RT order it for me and it took a couple of weeks. They said that they didn't have them yet, due to its newness.

Post Been using it for over a week...
I have to admit--I really like this mask!  Most masks (Comfort Lite 2; Ultra Mirage; and so forth) took way too much time to setup.  The Comfort Lite 2 took me more than a month to get the pillows situated correctly.  (The leak rate is really high as well).  The Swift LT took less than ten minutes for the first setup and I haven't looked back.  The only thing I have noticed is that I have to switch from the medium pillows to the small pillows on days when the allergies are acting up a bit.

It is REALLY quiet.

No complaints here!
