Post Need help with mask problem
This is 2nd week with CPAP & I'm having a problem with the mask hurting the bridge of my nose.  Started with the F&P Flexfit 407, but had leak problems and it felt too big.  Changed to F&P Flexfit 406 and the size feels much better and no more leaking, but this one is making the bridge of my nose very sore.  I adjusted the straps as loose as I can without leaking but it didn't help.  I can't use nasal pillows because the pressure was too hard directly in my nose.  I was wondering if anyone has tried the Respironics Simplicity or Comfort Curve, or the Mirage Vista.  These don't touch the bridge of your nose.  Any other suggestions for this problem.  I really appreciate all of the info I've already received from this forum.  Thanks for any help you can give.

Take a look around the help forum also...if you have not done so already.  Take advantage of the search features by using a few key words or combination of words to see how others have dealt with this.  You will most likely get replies but maybe not prior to settling into bed tonight.  Unfortunately I use a nasal...have not dealth with this problem myself.

Best of luck... I know I have seen solutions on here before.

Thanks Mrs. Rip.
I have been reading every post the mentions mask problems and have found some that suggest using cotton pad on the bridge of the nose.  I'm going to try this tonight, but hope to find a better solution for the future.

many masks have a top adjustment to vary the pressure on the top of nose adjust if your mask has this, also tape will protect skin against irritation
