Bed Sheets - notice a difference?

I never thought of sheets making a difference in my sleep apnea but I think everybody has their own preference and should follow that.  Some like flannel sheets, I hate them, they are too warm. Some like crisp, some like soft.  Thread count never seems to have a thing to do with how sheets feel to me.  I have never dared to open the package to feel them...will have to try that!  Anyway, mites are another deal.  I change sheets once a week, put my pillows in a hot dryer for about 40 minutes, and do the same to my down comforter and down blanket and mattress pad.  Once a month I wash pillows and blankets. I think it's helps my congestion and itching eyes somewhat.

Mrs. Rip Van Winkle, I was ready to go to Sam's and take out a membership just for the sheets until I read that you like your Tempurpedic mattress. I slept on my son's for a week when I baby sat the grandkids and it was the worst experience in my life. It was like sleeping on a cold, dead slab. So I think we may not have the same taste in bedsheets. However...I do love them crisp. And cold when I first crawl into bed.  Oh sleep, how I crave good sleep!

Grandma...don't let my taste in mattresses ruin a good set of sheets.  You can go into SAM's with a visitor pass to check out the sheets.  I have no problem opening the package and feeling what I am spending that $$ on.

BTW...my tempurpedic is a true Tempurpedic, not a knock off and it is top of the line with the pillow top...it is totally the opposite of hard.  When I first felt it in the store I thought it was going to be too soft for my very bad back...then I layed on it...WOW...I have never woke in the AM with aches and pains since I have had it...other than when I really put my back out.  The knock offs tend to be hard and uncomfortable....and the bottom of the line Tempurpedics are firmer.

Gotta tell ya...those sheets are great...if you can recognise the set I am speaking of there.  If you ever had a really bad sunburn and needed something more soothing touching your skin...you would be putting these sheets on the bed.
