Post Question about test results
Unfortunately I dont have a copy of the results.. But i know I have some #'s and want to know if the Doc is telling me the truth. The test was done by at a German Hospitol (one of the better ones in southern Germany). Not that I doubt him, but just a curiosity thing I guess

According to the test i took last week (just before Xmas) I have an average of 70 apnea's an hours... and they last for over 30 seconds on average. my oxygen content fell to 80% many many times  (average I would say was about 85%) and my heart rate graph looked like a roller coaster on steriods going over the rockies. So basically I spend less time breathing in any given hour than I do actually breathing.

The doc basically told me I have a mod-sev case of apnea but he seemed only to focus on the "higher" apneas. As we looked over the graph he didnt seem to concerned with the really low points. Not that there were a million of them, but there were enough that I noticed. I am scheduled to get a split night test in Late Jan/Early Feb as soon as he can get me in.

Also, other than not sleeping on my back is there any "home remedy" which might help till i get the offical test done?

If you can elevate your head and shoulders some during sleep, that might help some.
I've heard that suggested.
