Post Activa & Vista masks -VPAP user
I was wondering if I could get some opinions from others who have used either of these masks.  Right now I am using the Activa (I was on the Mirage Micro and hated it) which seals very well -- but it's a "standard" and I am thinking it is too big for my face.  It touches my eyelids when I lay down to sleep and almost covers my upper lip.  Im not sure if I should stick with it if it's too big for my face, even though I havent had any leaks and have been able to sleep in my beloved side/stomach position!
They also gave me a VISTA to try.....but they didnt give me a manual and I have been struggling with the headgear which seems very complicated.  I havent actually used it yet but Has anyone had any experience with this?  My RT said he doesnt like to recommend the Vista because people have trouble with it......just looking for personal experiences...
I have been on VPAP for about 2 weeks - some nights are better than others, but there are nights when frustration almost gets the best of me and I feel like pitching it all out the window!
Any input given would be so much appreciated.  Thanks!

I am using the Activa and love it!  Have you tried the shallow insert?  This is shorter from bridge of nose to upper lip than the standard insert.

No I didnt know there was anything but "standard" -  when I called the Respiratory Services Dept that works with me and asked them about the shallow one, they acted like they didnt know what I was talking about.  My personal RT is supposed to get back to me, so hopefully that will work better for me.
THanks for the input!!
