Post Should I increase the setting?
I woke up this morning and opened my mouth, but no air was blowing out. That's what the cpap is supposed to do right? When I moved my tongue, the air then came out my mouth. Does that mean the machine wasn't keeping my airway open?

Nope. It means that you have successfully mastered the art of sealing your tongue against the roof of your mouth and teeth to prevent leaks thru your mouth!!! Good on you! Just hope that you unconsciously do it all night whilst you sleep all the time every night!!

I think you can judge your success on how dry your mouth and tongue are on waking

as mentioned elsewhere, an open mouth with a nose only mask occasionally doesnt cause mouth breathing
