Post Pressure correct if determined when congested?
Sorry if this is in the wrong spot.

I just had my first sleep study on the 14th and it happened that I had a lot of nasal congestion that day. I'm concerned that the pressure that was used for me that night might be too high when I am not congested. Is that a problem? Do you think I need an auto machine because of this?

Thanks!

Maggie

Hi Maggie,

That's a very good question, and I don't quite know the answer.  So did they also test you with cpap that night?  Or was it just the baseline study and you'll be going back for the cpap titration study?

Hi, Linda! Thanks for responding. :) It was a split-night study, so I did have the mask for the second part of the night.
