I was perusing the a year or so ago, when I ran across a company that makes a new nasal delivery mechanism, which is essentially two cords that plug into your nose (no complicated, uncomfortable mask).   I can find the link, and I wonder if someone else here might know about it...

I'm ordering my CPAP/BiPAP soon and I want to see if I can get this mask with the device.

oe are probably talking about nasal pillows.  They have been around for a long time and are made by a variety of manufacturers.  If you look at the fourth post down you will see a list of all currently available interfaces.

You use whatever is comfortable for you.  To show how individual choices are, I like masks and can't stand something sticking in my nose.

I've seen many of the "nasal pillows" around...  Nasal Aire II seems very nice.  The ones I saw online were long, thin, tubes that connected right inside your nose (no other apparatus like a band, head dress, etc).  I'm trying to find that again...

I don't like the masks, they are uncomfortable - especially if  you have to use the restroom at night and take all that stuff off.   I feel like Darth Vader taking a nap!  LOL

I just looked at the Nasal Air II and the pictures showed that it does have headbands -- and the user rating was only 4.1 out of 5.0 (not very good compared to most other masks on that site).  It is a form of nasal pillows that uses nasal "prongs".  Some people find them to be good, but they are not anything special.

There are no magic bullets and no magic masks, use whatever is comfortable for you.

Just a point of clarification.  Nasal Aire II are nasal *prongs* not *pillows*.  Nasal *prongs* go up inside your nose and make a seal inside your nostrils.  Nasal *pillows* do not go up inside your nose.  Your nostrils rest on them and the seal forms around the edge of the nostril.  They must be wider than the nostril so there is adequate sealing surface.

Pillows are more popular than prongs, but some people do find prongs to be more comfortable.  Use whatever works

Just wanted to make that distinction clear, as some people reading here might get the wrong idea that pillows should go up inside the nose.  Only masks labeled as *prongs* should do that.
