Hi folks, this is my first post on this new board.

About 2 months ago, my GP sent me to a neurologist (Dr. Ruzica Ristanovic at Evanston Northwest in Evanston, IL), because of my insomnia and tiredness.  After my preliminary evaluation, the doc set me up with a sleep study.  After the first study, they said that I had central sleep apnea, and when they tried CPAP, it caused events where I was unable to exhale.  So, she scheduled me a second study on BiPAP, to allow me to exhale while keeping continuous pressure.  After that study, the tech said I was very sensitive to the pressure changes, and would often wake up when they changed the pressure, but that it seemed like I was responding OK to the BiPAP, but might benefit from added oxygen.  I have a follow-up with Dr. Ristanovic to review my results in a couple of weeks (they're pretty booked up down there).

After my follow-up, when the Dr. makes recommendations and such, and I get my hardware (if needed), I'll probably have lots of questions and need lots of advice from all the folks here, I just wanted to introduce myself ahead of time.

Thanks.
